The NALS Annual Conference is now in its 5th year and, each year grows in stature and importance, attracting top quality speakers and industry commentators.
2015 was no exception, the venue once again being The Mermaid Theatre, London with inspirational views of the River Thames.
This year’s theme was “Sourcing business in a competitive market place” and our distinguished speakers shared the latest legislative changes, marketing, and digital strategies to give our delegates the business edge.
Many of the presentations mentioned the importance of video for agents, and how our industry must embrace this method of communication.
Our delegates also heard from the Government on the latest legislative changes including the roll out of "Right to Rent" and the new Housing Bill as well as a vital legal update from a leading landlord and tenant solicitor, Robert Bolwell.
Conference Chair, Kate Faulkner, urged agents to work together to rid the sector of rogues by reporting non-compliant agents to Trading Standards. She closed the Conference by suggesting it was time for agents to come out of a “silo-ed” existence, and collaborate together for the greater good of the PRS.
